Such a beautiful writing to bring hope with our standing ones at center. I love trees, too. I have my special big cottonwood that has a giant hole at the bottom for which I journey either up to the heavens or down into the earth. It is my prize, but I can't forget all the giant walnuts that have blessed us in Lone Jack and here in Kingsville. To think that six years ago we moved into the middle of a hay pasture devoid of any standing ones. Now the land is full of trees with barely a space to plant a new one, and in honor of my lovely cottonwood, we have planted several of these fast-growing trees that now provide shade and comfort and glory every day.
